What is Kinesiology?

In its essence, Kinesiology utilises muscle testing (also termed ‘muscle monitoring’) to receive feedback from the client’s body.

Depending on the ‘stressor’ or question given to the client, the muscle will either ‘hold’ or stay ‘locked’ when tested in contraction, or otherwise will ‘unlock’.

The Kinesiologist then uses this information to assess the current state of the person, and to determine the priority techniques for healing.

The methods for bringing the body to balance range from rubbing or holding of accupressure points, through to diet assessment, muscle stretch and clearing of significant emotional events in a person's life... to name a few!

The techniques balance at a number of levels to ultimately re-pattern the body around an issue at the physical, mental, emotional and energetic levels (to name a few!).

As a common standard in Kinesiology, ‘balance’ is determined using the meridian energy system as described by Chinese medicine.
